I created these pieces using an idea to let go of all melodic sound preconceptions and follow where the sounds of the synthesizers led. The focus was placed on letting the sounds evolve, to find interesting layers, atmosphere and mood. It is therefore a more atonal journey with some sparse rhythmical elements arriving later, the ambient drones interwoven into an evolving narrative. It is not totally devoid of melodic sections, though the atmospheric nature takes precendent.
Each piece was recorded as a single take live improvisation.
